One Week In

One week in and Battleborn’s journey through Destiny 2 is just beginning. As a clan we’ve experienced the benefits of being active and joining with each other to earn experience, a Glimmer income bonus and legendary engrams for our clan. In under six hours, we easily accomplished each of the available clan milestones together and had a lot of fun along the way.

It's been thrilling to see new and returning members keeping the clan rosters populated with teams that are experiencing Destiny 2 together. It's a reminder of what makes Destiny and Battleborn great and clan leadership is in awe of each and every one of you.

For those of you who haven't had an opportunity to join your clan mates – don’t forget that Destiny is more fun with friends! If you find yourself flying solo, create a chat group and invite your clan mates to join your fireteam as you play. Sometimes bonds and raid groups form from something as simple as sending a message that reads, “Hey, what are you working on?”

This is especially true in the new Crucible experience. As expected, team play is more important than ever and coordination and cooperation is often the difference between success and failure. Remember to fire together and most importantly, stick together! A lone Guardian is a dead Guardian!

Trials begins this Friday and the mode will be Countdown on the map Eternity. If you are planning on participating then now is the time to gather your fireteam and practice this new game mode. With patience, perseverance, and practice you will maximize your chance of success.

In other news: Destiny 2’s first raid, Leviathan, is accessible starting today. Over the next week several teams from Battleborn will be testing their mettle against this new challenge. If you’re looking for a group to help you learn the new raid, then our Raid Sherpas will be ready for you. Raid schools will be firing up in a few weeks. Keep an eye on the Announcements channel for more information.

Cracking open a raid for the first time is a special experience for many of our members. Going in with no knowledge of the necessary mechanics or loadouts and finding their way through is something of a ritual for many. It’s been said before but please do not ruin this experience for them and remember to keep any talk of the raid details on the Destiny Spoilers channel on Discord until leadership lifts the spoiler embargo.

We're at the beginning of a new era Battleborn, and the best is yet to come!

Member of the Moment

Our newest Member of the Moment is a member of our community who is just crazy enough to enjoy repeated Crucible exposure. In fact, it's widely known that if you say "Crucible" three times you will see the glow of a transmat effect as he appears beside you. Or you could always just join his party chat where there is always an open invitation. Either method works. Gentleman, I present:

Be sure to congratulate him on this once in lifetime achievement!
